You Will Reward 400 Power Level Weapons in Destiny 2 Prestige Raid Lairs this Summer

According to Bungie, Prestige Eater of Worlds and Prestige Spire of Stars will be the only way to earn weapons at power level 400 before the launch of Destiny 2: Forsaken. As far as armor is concerned, the Solstice of Heroes event will be the source for 400 power level versions of that gear. Read more on

New Things in Destiny 2 Prestige Raid lair
The unique constraints for the Prestige raids will be a pre-determined loadout that all players must adhere to. This isn’t the same as a locked loadout where players can’t change their weapons; they simply will only be allowed to equip a specific weapon type in a slot. For example, one week may ask players to use a Scout Rifle as their kinetic, an auto rifle as their elemental, and a rocket launcher as their power weapon.

Prestige Raid lairs will also include a rotation between three modifiers, two unknown ones and Prism. Those that remember the early days of Nightfall Strikes will know that the Prism modifier buffs elemental damage on a rotation, kind of like the singe on heroic strikes. All told, the modifiers are supposed to help the fireteam and shouldn’t negatively affect them.

Of course, Bungie needs to give Destiny 2 players reasons to complete these Prestige Raid Lairs beyond a boost in power level. The good news is that each raid (that includes Leviathan) and raid lair will have an exotic weapon catalyst tied to it, and the two raid lairs will unlock ornaments on their respective armor. It’s a different look for the harder versions of Destiny 2’s raids but one that could help increase the replayability. If nothing else, players will likely want to try out the Prestige raid lairs to try and get to power level 400.

New Changes in Destiny 2 Update 1.2.3
Besides, Bungie also revealed an image detailing what to expect over the next month, including details on upcoming recurring events like Iron Banner and Faction Rallies. But the big day is July 17, when a ton of changes will hit alongside the game's last update before the Forsaken DLC releases on Sept. 4.

Update 1.2.3 will contain a number of changes to the Crucible, including the inception of full-time six-vs-six Quickplay. Up until now, the game's Quickplay PvP variant has been four-vs-four. Game mode scoring will change as well, along with an update to the Crucible's ranking system.
